Boston Fetch has partnered with Pet Check, a proprietary system that provides you with real-time certainty that your dog or cat is being taken care of. We do this by using mobile barcode technology, email alerts, GPS tracking, and online scheduling and payment tools.
When you sign up with Boston Fetch, a unique barcode (or QR code) containing an individual identification code is created and printed for your home. When a walker arrives and scans that barcode, you will receive an email or mobile alert that the walk has started (and again when they finish). You can then see awesome photos, notes and what your dog did (i.e. #1 and #2) on the walk.
After you receive your real-time alert confirming our walker’s arrival to your home, you can log on to your secure Boston Fetch management page to check GPS coordinates of your dog’s walk. You’ll never have to second-guess where, when or how long your dog was walked.
Online Scheduling Tools
Your account provides you with a secure, personalized schedule-management page to help you manage your dog walking and cat sitting schedule. You can view past and future scheduled dog walks and cat visits, as well as make requests outside of your normal schedule. Once a request is made for an additional walk, you will receive a confirmation email from Boston Fetch within 12 hours (but usually much faster!).
View your invoices, make payments and change your billing options right from your account. You can easily enroll in auto-billing on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis, meaning one less thing to think about. We also take cash or checks, whichever way you prefer.
